The Adams County Transit Authority (ACTA) is a public, non-profit shared-ride transportation provider. We find our roots in Apple Line Transportation Inc., which formed in 1981. Several years later, Apple Line was established as a municipal authority and renamed Adams County Transit Authority in 1987. We currently provide over 57,000 trips per year totaling 279,000 vehicle miles. Our services are available to all residents of Adams County.
